Spirit Award

The Business Community Spirit Award looks to celebrate a business that has made a positive impact or introduced change into the local community.  This can be both in the workplace community or the public community.  The purpose of this award is to celebrate how local companies support their community through their endeavours.

Director of the Year

Recognising excellence in leadership; dynamic thinking; strategic planning; a fearlessness to innovate; collaboration with partners; and a commitment to ongoing investment in their employees to ensure their businesses grow further.  Crucial values which will engage and inspire the next generation of business leaders. 

and Enterprise

Celebrating new ideas, processes, products, services, technologies and applications that have had an impact on an organisation’s success.  Judges will be looking for originality of the innovation, its impact, practicality of its application and the measurable benefits to the business.

Small Business of the Year

This award will go to the profitable business which has increased its potential over the last year and employs 10 or fewer full and part time staff.  The judges will be interested in innovative products, services and processes as well as expansion into new markets and different areas of business activity.

Young Business Achiever
of the Year

Recognising an individual aged 30 or under who has been instrumental in shaping the success of their business and the delivery of growth and development. Individuals will need to demonstrate ambition, energy, skill and vision as well as tangible business success.
